Are you really Independent or am I supporting you?

So a lot of people swear up and down that they're independent, especially my single mothers. I give you a BIG round of applause if you truly are independent. What confuses me is how someone can scream "I handles mine" while standing on a welfare line. Don't get me wrong, I understand times are rough and you might hit rock bottom. What I don't understand is how you can hit rock bottom and STAY there.
I blame the government as well. They shut down school but yet there are women on section 8, fully capable of working, just sitting there collecting the governments money, correction OUR money.
What also confuses me is the "Tax Season Ballers". You know who they are, the ones who pop bottles in the club January - April but from May - December can't gather up $40 to pay for the admission. It's cool though, everyone deserves to be a thousandaire once in their life. It's just sad that when we do get money that the government owes us, we spend it foolishly.
So again I ask, are you really independent or am I supporting you?
